What is different about partitioning in Ellon?
For Ellon businesses that share a building, we keep noise, dust and deliveries to agreed windows so neighbours are not disturbed.
Workplaces near Ellon often combine office space with storage or production, which is where solid stud walls, in-plant offices and glazed screens work well together.
What do glass manifestation & privacy film cost in Ellon?
Full-height privacy film runs about £45–£85 per m² depending on film type and design complexity, while simple safety bands start from about £15–£35 per linear metre. Typical lead time: 1–2 weeks. Guide prices, supply and install — fixed after a free survey.
Why use us for glass manifestation & privacy film in Ellon?
Tidy, protected sites
Floors and finishes are protected, waste is removed and the area is cleaned before handover.
Free survey in Ellon
We measure the space, check ceilings, floors and services, and talk through how you want the office to work before anything is priced.
Privacy without losing light
Frosted and gradient film obscure views into rooms while still letting daylight through, which blinds and solid walls cannot do.
Compliance on every panel
We check every pane of clear glass against Approved Document K and apply manifestation at the right heights, closing a common gap found in fit-out audits.
Typical glass manifestation & privacy film projects we see in Ellon include reception and entrance screens, glazed corridors and ground-floor street windows. Film can be removed and replaced when rooms are renamed, the brand changes or privacy needs shift, without replacing glass or disturbing the partition.

Questions about glass manifestation & privacy film in Ellon
Will our Ellon landlord need to approve the partitions?
If you lease your Ellon office, the lease will usually require landlord consent — often a licence for alterations — before partitions are installed. We supply drawings, specifications and method statements to support the application.
Do you cover areas near Ellon?
Yes. As well as Ellon we regularly cover Dyce, Inverurie and Peterhead, plus the rest of Aberdeenshire and Scotland. Survey and installation teams are arranged regionally.
At what height should glass manifestation be?
Under Approved Document K, manifestation should be placed in two zones: one between 850mm and 1000mm above floor level, and another between 1400mm and 1600mm. That covers people of different heights, including children and wheelchair users. The marking should contrast with the view behind it.
Is glass manifestation a legal requirement in offices?
Yes, where clear glazing could be mistaken for an opening. Regulation 14 of the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 requires transparent surfaces to be marked where necessary for safety, and Approved Document K sets out how. In practice, almost all office glass partitions and doors need it.
Whether your Ellon project is a single room or a whole floor, we will survey, design and install your glass manifestation & privacy film with one team.
