What should Northamptonshire projects plan for?

For Northampton offices that stay occupied during the works, we split the installation into zones so only a small part of the floor is affected at any one time.

Smaller floorplates in Northampton make every metre count, so we often recommend glass that keeps daylight moving across the office while still giving managers a private room.

Brand on the glass

Logos, patterns and room names in film give a workplace identity and help visitors find their way, at a modest cost compared with signage.

Easy to change later

Film can be removed and replaced when rooms are renamed, the brand changes or privacy needs shift, without replacing glass or disturbing the partition.

Every glass partition needs manifestation, and many need more privacy than clear glass gives. Film solves both. At its simplest, manifestation is a pair of frosted bands or a dot pattern at the heights set by Approved Document K, so people notice the glass. Beyond that, privacy film can cover a band from desk height to standing eye level, a full panel, or a gradient that fades from opaque at the bottom to clear at the top. The choice controls how much people outside can see while keeping daylight in the room.

Surveys across Northamptonshire

Survey visits across Northamptonshire — including Northampton, Northampton and Kettering — are free and carry no obligation. We measure, photograph and note services so the quote is accurate first time.

In England, partition works that affect fire safety or means of escape fall under the Building Regulations, so we flag anything that may need Building Control at survey stage.

Glass Manifestation & Privacy Film in Northamptonshire: FAQs

How soon can you start on a Northampton project?

Typical lead time for glass manifestation & privacy film is 1–2 weeks from signed-off drawings, mostly because materials are made to measure. Installation itself is usually a matter of days for a typical office, and we can phase work around a Northampton office that stays open.

Can you work out of hours at our Northampton office?

Yes. Evening and weekend installation can be arranged in Northampton so the office keeps running. Out-of-hours working usually adds a percentage to the labour cost, which is shown clearly on the quote.

How much does office privacy film cost?

Full-height privacy film typically costs £45–£85 per m² supplied and installed, excluding VAT, depending on film type and design. Simple safety manifestation bands start from about £15–£35 per linear metre. Printed and custom-cut branded designs sit at the upper end. We confirm a fixed price after a free survey.

Can privacy film be removed later?

Yes. Commercial interior film can be removed with gentle heat and adhesive remover without damaging the glass. That makes it easy to update branding, room names or privacy levels later. We can remove old film and apply new in the same visit.
