What is different about partitioning in Merthyr Tydfil?
Offices in Merthyr Tydfil range from first-floor suites above the high street to modern units on the edge of town, and the right partition system depends as much on the building as on the budget.
For Merthyr Tydfil buildings with older timber floors or plastered ceilings, we check fixings and deflection on survey so the partitions stay true once the building moves with the seasons.
What do curved glass partitions cost in Merthyr Tydfil?
Radius, panel size and whether the glass is bent toughened or bent laminated set most of the cost, along with the curved head and base track that must be rolled to match. Typical lead time: 5–7 weeks. Guide prices, supply and install — fixed after a free survey.
Why do Merthyr Tydfil businesses choose us?
Tested systems, documented
We use manufacturers' tested partition systems and hand over the relevant performance and test evidence at completion.
Better circulation
Curved corners remove sharp junctions where corridors meet, improving sightlines and making busy routes feel less congested and easier to move through.
Work around your hours
Evening and weekend installation can be arranged for occupied Merthyr Tydfil offices, keeping disruption to a minimum.
Mix with flat glass
Combining curved corners with flat runs keeps most of the visual impact while holding the overall partition cost closer to a standard glazed room.
Typical curved glass partitions projects we see in Merthyr Tydfil include feature meeting rooms, reception and entrance walls and showroom and client suites. Like flat glass, curved panels let natural light flow across the floor, so a feature room does not create a dark core in the plan.

How do surveys work in Merthyr Tydfil?
Our office is in Great Barr, Birmingham — roughly 83 miles from Merthyr Tydfil as the crow flies — and survey and installation teams are arranged regionally, so distance does not change the price structure.
In Wales, the Building Regulations apply with Welsh-specific guidance, so we flag anything that may need Building Control — usually fire or escape-route changes — at survey stage.

Merthyr Tydfil curved glass partitions FAQs
Do you install curved glass partitions in Merthyr Tydfil?
Yes. We survey, supply and install curved glass partitions throughout Merthyr Tydfil and the wider Mid Glamorgan area, including Aberdare and Ebbw Vale. The survey is free and you receive a fixed, written quote before any work is booked.
Do you cover areas near Merthyr Tydfil?
Yes. As well as Merthyr Tydfil we regularly cover Aberdare, Ebbw Vale and Pontypridd, plus the rest of Mid Glamorgan and Wales. Survey and installation teams are arranged regionally.
What is the smallest radius for curved glass partitions?
It depends on glass thickness and panel size, but office partitions commonly start from around 500mm radius and up. Tighter curves limit how wide and tall each panel can be. We confirm the achievable radius with the glass processor at design stage, before any glass is ordered.
Is curved glass as strong as flat glass?
Yes. Curved glass is bent first and then toughened or laminated, so it meets the same safety standards as flat glass of the same type. The curve also adds some stiffness. Bent toughened glass can show slight optical distortion, which is a normal characteristic rather than a defect.
