What should Derry offices plan for?
Smaller floorplates in Derry make every metre count, so we often recommend glass that keeps daylight moving across the office while still giving managers a private room.
Across Derry we see a lot of mixed-use space — offices next to workshops, clinics or showrooms — where partitions have to deal with noise, dust or fire separation as well as privacy.
Glass Manifestation & Privacy Film prices in Derry
Full-height privacy film runs about £45–£85 per m² depending on film type and design complexity, while simple safety bands start from about £15–£35 per linear metre. Typical lead time: 1–2 weeks. Guide prices, supply and install — fixed after a free survey.
What do you get with us in Derry?
One point of contact
A single project contact handles survey, drawings, ordering and installation, so you are not chasing different trades.
Compliance on every panel
We check every pane of clear glass against Approved Document K and apply manifestation at the right heights, closing a common gap found in fit-out audits.
Snagging and aftercare
We return to adjust doors and closers after the building settles, and repairs or alterations are only a call away.
Easy to change later
Film can be removed and replaced when rooms are renamed, the brand changes or privacy needs shift, without replacing glass or disturbing the partition.
Typical glass manifestation & privacy film projects we see in Derry include meeting room glazing, reception and entrance screens and glass doors and side panels. Frosted and gradient film obscure views into rooms while still letting daylight through, which blinds and solid walls cannot do.

How do surveys work in Derry?
Our office is in Great Barr, Birmingham — roughly 277 miles from Derry as the crow flies — and survey and installation teams are arranged regionally, so distance does not change the price structure.
In Northern Ireland, the Building Regulations (Northern Ireland) apply and are administered by the local council's building control team; we flag anything that may need approval at survey stage.
What happens next?
Book a survey
A member of the team measures the Derry office, notes access and services, and discusses layout, privacy and acoustics with you.
Drawings and quote
We prepare drawings and an itemised fixed price, adjusting the design until it works for your team and budget.
Production and logistics
Made-to-measure panels are produced and we book deliveries, lifts and parking around your building.
Install and sign-off
We fit the partitions with minimal disruption, complete snagging and walk you through the finished space.
Derry glass manifestation & privacy film FAQs
How much do glass manifestation & privacy film cost in Derry?
Our guide price for glass manifestation & privacy film is £45–£85 per m², supply and install, excluding VAT. The final price for a Derry project depends on the measured size, doors, glass or board specification and access, and is fixed after the free survey.
Can you work out of hours at our Derry office?
Yes. Evening and weekend installation can be arranged in Derry so the office keeps running. Out-of-hours working usually adds a percentage to the labour cost, which is shown clearly on the quote.
At what height should glass manifestation be?
Under Approved Document K, manifestation should be placed in two zones: one between 850mm and 1000mm above floor level, and another between 1400mm and 1600mm. That covers people of different heights, including children and wheelchair users. The marking should contrast with the view behind it.
Can privacy film be removed later?
Yes. Commercial interior film can be removed with gentle heat and adhesive remover without damaging the glass. That makes it easy to update branding, room names or privacy levels later. We can remove old film and apply new in the same visit.
