What should Dundee projects plan for?
Where a Dundee building has a managing agent, we provide method statements, risk assessments and drawings in advance so the licence for alterations is not held up.
Offices in Dundee range from first-floor suites above the high street to modern units on the edge of town, and the right partition system depends as much on the building as on the budget.
How much do glass manifestation & privacy film cost in Dundee?
Full-height privacy film runs about £45–£85 per m² depending on film type and design complexity, while simple safety bands start from about £15–£35 per linear metre. Typical lead time: 1–2 weeks. Guide prices, supply and install — fixed after a free survey.
Why choose us in Dundee?
Tested systems, documented
We use manufacturers' tested partition systems and hand over the relevant performance and test evidence at completion.
Snagging and aftercare
We return to adjust doors and closers after the building settles, and repairs or alterations are only a call away.
Privacy without losing light
Frosted and gradient film obscure views into rooms while still letting daylight through, which blinds and solid walls cannot do.
Compliance on every panel
We check every pane of clear glass against Approved Document K and apply manifestation at the right heights, closing a common gap found in fit-out audits.
Film is also the simplest way to put your brand on the office. Logos, patterns, room names and wayfinding can be cut from frosted or coloured film and fitted to existing glass without replacing anything. We prepare digital proofs at full scale so you can check the heights and how the design reads from a seat. Because film is applied to the inside face of the glass, it can be changed later when the brand, room names or layout change, without disturbing the partition itself.

Surveys across Dundee
We cover Dundee along with nearby Dundee, Broughty Ferry and Broughty Ferry. Surveys are free and usually take under an hour for a typical office floor.
In Scotland, building standards are administered by local authority verifiers, and some partition works need a building warrant; we flag anything that may need one at survey stage.

Do you cover areas near Dundee?
Yes. As well as Dundee we regularly cover Dundee, Broughty Ferry and Broughty Ferry, plus the rest of Dundee and Scotland. Survey and installation teams are arranged regionally.
At what height should glass manifestation be?
Under Approved Document K, manifestation should be placed in two zones: one between 850mm and 1000mm above floor level, and another between 1400mm and 1600mm. That covers people of different heights, including children and wheelchair users. The marking should contrast with the view behind it.
Does privacy film make glass soundproof?
No. Privacy film only changes what can be seen through the glass and has no meaningful effect on sound. If conversations are being overheard, look at acoustic glass, door seals and gaps above the ceiling instead. Film is often combined with these measures.
