What should Somerset projects plan for?
Converted buildings in and around Bath often bring tricky ceiling lines and out-of-square walls; site-measured glass and adjustable head tracks take care of both.
Offices in Bath range from first-floor suites above the high street to modern units on the edge of town, and the right partition system depends as much on the building as on the budget.
How much do glass manifestation & privacy film cost in Somerset?
Full-height privacy film runs about £45–£85 per m² depending on film type and design complexity, while simple safety bands start from about £15–£35 per linear metre. Typical lead time: 1–2 weeks. Guide prices, supply and install — fixed after a free survey.
Why choose us in Somerset?
Brand on the glass
Logos, patterns and room names in film give a workplace identity and help visitors find their way, at a modest cost compared with signage.
Privacy without losing light
Frosted and gradient film obscure views into rooms while still letting daylight through, which blinds and solid walls cannot do.
Tidy, protected sites
Floors and finishes are protected, waste is removed and the area is cleaned before handover.
One point of contact
A single project contact handles survey, drawings, ordering and installation, so you are not chasing different trades.
Every glass partition needs manifestation, and many need more privacy than clear glass gives. Film solves both. At its simplest, manifestation is a pair of frosted bands or a dot pattern at the heights set by Approved Document K, so people notice the glass. Beyond that, privacy film can cover a band from desk height to standing eye level, a full panel, or a gradient that fades from opaque at the bottom to clear at the top. The choice controls how much people outside can see while keeping daylight in the room.

Surveys across Somerset
We cover Bath along with nearby Bath, Taunton and Weston-super-Mare. Surveys are free and usually take under an hour for a typical office floor.
In England, partition works that affect fire safety or means of escape fall under the Building Regulations, so we flag anything that may need Building Control at survey stage.

Glass Manifestation & Privacy Film in Somerset: FAQs
Do you install glass manifestation & privacy film in Bath?
Yes. We survey, supply and install glass manifestation & privacy film throughout Bath and the wider Somerset area, including Bath and Taunton. The survey is free and you receive a fixed, written quote before any work is booked.
Do you cover areas near Bath?
Yes. As well as Bath we regularly cover Bath, Taunton and Weston-super-Mare, plus the rest of Somerset and South West. Survey and installation teams are arranged regionally.
At what height should glass manifestation be?
Under Approved Document K, manifestation should be placed in two zones: one between 850mm and 1000mm above floor level, and another between 1400mm and 1600mm. That covers people of different heights, including children and wheelchair users. The marking should contrast with the view behind it.
Does privacy film make glass soundproof?
No. Privacy film only changes what can be seen through the glass and has no meaningful effect on sound. If conversations are being overheard, look at acoustic glass, door seals and gaps above the ceiling instead. Film is often combined with these measures.
