What should West Glamorgan projects plan for?
A lot of Swansea's office space sits in multi-let buildings where the landlord's fit-out rules set what can fix to ceilings and floors. We read those rules early so the design is approved first time.
Many Swansea workplaces are owner-occupied, which makes it easier to choose systems for the long term — acoustic glass for meeting rooms, for example, rather than the cheapest option.
How much do glass manifestation & privacy film cost in West Glamorgan?
Full-height privacy film runs about £45–£85 per m² depending on film type and design complexity, while simple safety bands start from about £15–£35 per linear metre. Typical lead time: 1–2 weeks. Guide prices, supply and install — fixed after a free survey.
Why choose us in West Glamorgan?
Compliance on every panel
We check every pane of clear glass against Approved Document K and apply manifestation at the right heights, closing a common gap found in fit-out audits.
Covering all of West Glamorgan
Survey and installation teams cover Swansea and the wider West Glamorgan area, including Swansea and Neath.
Brand on the glass
Logos, patterns and room names in film give a workplace identity and help visitors find their way, at a modest cost compared with signage.
Work around your hours
Evening and weekend installation can be arranged for occupied Swansea offices, keeping disruption to a minimum.
Every glass partition needs manifestation, and many need more privacy than clear glass gives. Film solves both. At its simplest, manifestation is a pair of frosted bands or a dot pattern at the heights set by Approved Document K, so people notice the glass. Beyond that, privacy film can cover a band from desk height to standing eye level, a full panel, or a gradient that fades from opaque at the bottom to clear at the top. The choice controls how much people outside can see while keeping daylight in the room.

Glass Manifestation & Privacy Film in West Glamorgan: FAQs
How soon can you start on a Swansea project?
Typical lead time for glass manifestation & privacy film is 1–2 weeks from signed-off drawings, mostly because materials are made to measure. Installation itself is usually a matter of days for a typical office, and we can phase work around a Swansea office that stays open.
Can you work out of hours at our Swansea office?
Yes. Evening and weekend installation can be arranged in Swansea so the office keeps running. Out-of-hours working usually adds a percentage to the labour cost, which is shown clearly on the quote.
At what height should glass manifestation be?
Under Approved Document K, manifestation should be placed in two zones: one between 850mm and 1000mm above floor level, and another between 1400mm and 1600mm. That covers people of different heights, including children and wheelchair users. The marking should contrast with the view behind it.
Is glass manifestation a legal requirement in offices?
Yes, where clear glazing could be mistaken for an opening. Regulation 14 of the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 requires transparent surfaces to be marked where necessary for safety, and Approved Document K sets out how. In practice, almost all office glass partitions and doors need it.
