What should Redditch offices plan for?
Many Redditch workplaces are owner-occupied, which makes it easier to choose systems for the long term — acoustic glass for meeting rooms, for example, rather than the cheapest option.
Across Redditch we see a lot of mixed-use space — offices next to workshops, clinics or showrooms — where partitions have to deal with noise, dust or fire separation as well as privacy.

Price depends on the switchable glass area, the number of individually controlled zones, the control method and the electrical work needed to bring power and cabling to each panel. Typical lead time: 4–6 weeks. Guide prices, supply and install — fixed after a free survey.
Why use us for switchable smart glass partitions in Redditch?
Work around your hours
Evening and weekend installation can be arranged for occupied Redditch offices, keeping disruption to a minimum.
Privacy in seconds
Rooms switch from clear to opaque instantly, so interviews, screen sharing and confidential meetings can happen without drawing blinds or applying permanent film.
Snagging and aftercare
We return to adjust doors and closers after the building settles, and repairs or alterations are only a call away.
Open by default
When privacy is not needed the glass is clear, so meeting rooms keep the open, connected feel that many organisations want across the floor.
Typical switchable smart glass partitions projects we see in Redditch include board and executive rooms, interview and hr rooms and directors' offices. There are no slats, cords or fabric to clean, repair or replace, and the clean glass line stays uncluttered whichever state the room is in.

How do surveys work in Redditch?
From our Birmingham office (around 17 miles away) we coordinate surveys and installations throughout West Midlands. In Redditch, that means a free measured survey and a written, fixed quote.
In England, partition works that affect fire safety or means of escape fall under the Building Regulations, so we flag anything that may need Building Control at survey stage.

Redditch switchable smart glass partitions FAQs
Do you install switchable smart glass partitions in Redditch?
Yes. We survey, supply and install switchable smart glass partitions throughout Redditch and the wider Worcestershire area, including Bromsgrove and Solihull. The survey is free and you receive a fixed, written quote before any work is booked.
Can you work out of hours at our Redditch office?
Yes. Evening and weekend installation can be arranged in Redditch so the office keeps running. Out-of-hours working usually adds a percentage to the labour cost, which is shown clearly on the quote.
How does switchable smart glass work?
Smart glass contains a liquid crystal film between two layers of glass. When power is applied, the crystals align and the glass is clear. When power is off, they scatter light and the glass turns opaque white. The change takes seconds and is controlled by a switch, sensor or building system.
Does smart glass make a room soundproof?
No. Switchable glass changes how the room looks, not how much sound passes through. Its acoustic performance is similar to other single glazed laminated glass, roughly Rw 34–38 dB in lab tests. For confidential rooms, combine smart glass with acoustic seals, sealed doors and attention to the ceiling void.
